RHBA-2006:0422 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
xterm bug fix update
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
Updated xterm packages that fix various bugs are now available.
Description
The xterm program is a terminal emulator for the X Window System. It
provides DEC VT102 and Tektronix 4014 compatible terminals for programs
that cannot use the window system directly.
This update fixes an issue with multiple utmp entries being created by
xterm -ls, and an issue with using the '-into' and '-e' options simultaneously.
All xterm users are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which
resolve these issues.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
This update is available via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network,

RPMs being upgraded on your system.
