Updated newt packages are now available that fix input of national
characters in UTF-8 locales.

Description

Newt is a programming library for color text mode, widget-based user
interfaces.

Programs using the newt library to create their user interface were unable
to read UTF-8 input properly, when national characters were used. This made
it impossible to input national characters for newt-based programs in many
configurations.

Users should upgrade to these updated packages, which resolve this issue.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released
erratarelevant to your system have been applied.This update is available
via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network,launch the Red Hat Update
Agent with the following command:up2dateThis will start an interactive
process that will result in the appropriateRPMs being upgraded on your system.
