Updated unixODBC packages that fix various bugs are now available.

Description

unixODBC supports database access via the ODBC protocol.

This update brings the package up to upstream version 2.2.11, which fixes various problems
including inability to use ODBC cursors (SQL_CUR_USE_ODBC connection option).

A problem that caused core dumps when trying to use unixODBC under Perl DBD::ODBC has been
corrected.

A build error that prevented use of the text-file DSN has been corrected, and documentation for the
text-file driver has been added to the package.

Users of unixODBC are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which resolve these issues.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.

This update is available via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network,
launch the Red Hat Update Agent with the following command:

up2date

This will start an interactive process that will result in the appropriate
RPMs being upgraded on your system.
