An updated hwdata package is available that updates the PCI description
tables and includes updated mappings for Intel video drivers.

Description

The hwdata package contains various hardware identification and
configuration data, such as the pci.ids database, the Xorg Cards and
MonitorsDb databases.

This new package updates the pci.ids and usb.ids databases that match
numeric IDs to descriptive names, used by lspci and lsusb. It also includes
updated PCI mappings for Intel 915 integrated graphics, and adds support
for Intel 945 and ATI ES1000 integrated graphics. Additionally a typo in
the upgradelist that prevented proper functionality for systems with QLA
2322 and QLA2342 Fiber channel expansion cards has been fixed. Also, the
EDAC memory correction modules have been added to the hotplug blacklist, so
that they only load when specifically requested.

Users of hwdata should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves
these issues.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.

This update is available via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network,
launch the Red Hat Update Agent with the following command:

up2date

This will start an interactive process that will result in the appropriate
RPMs being upgraded on your system.
