RHBA-2005:351 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
quota bug fix update
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
An updated quota package that fixes various bugs is now available.
Description
The quota package contains system administration tools for monitoring
and limiting user and group disk usage for each file system listed in
/etc/mtab. The quota package prints only the user quotas by default. For
file systems that are NFS-mounted, a call to rpc.rquotad on the server
machine is performed to get the information.
The quota package has been updated to the 3.10 version which corrects the
following issues:
- Fixed a problem with quota not working with version 1 rpc.rquotad
- Fixed a problem which caused quota to count directories twice
All users of the quota package should upgrade to this updated version,
which corrects these issues.
