An updated lvm package that fixes various bugs concerning access to EMC
Powerpath and IBM sdd devices is now available.
Description
LVM is the Logical Volume Manager to virtualize disk storage.
This update contains an enhanced device name filter, which avoids LVM
access to disk device nodes if IBM sdd multipath devices are also configured.
All users of lvm should upgrade to this updated package, which resolves
this issue.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
