Updated modutils packages that fix various bugs are now available.
Description
The modutils package includes various programs needed for loading and
unloading of modules under 2.2 and later kernels, as well as other module
management programs.
The following issues have been addressed:
- A proper alias has been added to avoid warnings on accesses of /dev/ttyUSB*
- The outputs of 'rmmod -a -v' and 'rmmod -v -a' are now identical
All users of modutils should upgrade to these updated packages, which
resolve these issues.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:
up2date
