Hi Rakesh,

Please explain your question in more detail?

Are you asking about a cluster or a standalone server?

Is there a filesystem in a logical volume or a raw logical volume for Oracle ASM?

There a so many scenarios, to complicated to describe in one article.

For a filesystem, mount triggers the lvm activation schema.
