Red Hat Subscription Management with RHEL 7.0

Greetings Red Hat Customer:

Red Hat is committed to providing Subscription Management tools to assist our customers in unlocking the full value from their Red Hat subscriptions. However, there is little value in the effort unless the tools/interfaces meet the needs of our customers. I’ve opened this discussion area to capture your thoughts, opinions, and issues with Red Hat Subscription Management for RHEL 7.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0 is available through Red Hat Subscription Management tools or via Red Hat Satellite 5.6. With RHEL 7, Red Hat Subscription-Management is the default client tool to connect and register to Red Hat (Red Hat Satellite 5.6 will continue to use the same rhn client tooling). If you are currently using Red Hat Network Classic or stand alone Proxy (no Satellite server) for your RHEL systems you will need to become familiar with Red Hat Subscription Management; the above articles are a start. There are several differences between the legacy Red Hat Network (RHN) Classic and the Red Hat Subscription Management (RHSM). For RHN Classic users please see the following articles:
