Memory Settings in JBoss Fuse ESB 6.0 and JBoss A-MQ 6.0

Latest response

Hi,
I am running JBoss Fuse ESB 6.0 and JBoss A-MQ 6.0 as Windows services and using 1G as the Java Max memory which is defined in wrapper configuration file. If there are more pending messages on activemq then browsing operation fails with Java Heap Error or Java PermGen memory error.

All batch scripts inside Fuse_Home/bin or Amq_Home/bin are present with their default memory settings. Do we need changes in those scripts (fuse.bat/karaf.bat/start.bat/setenv.bat/amq.bat etc)? Please suggest the best practices to avoid such errors.

Thanks
Shiv

Hi Shiv. I see you've opened a support case for this issue. Please follow up here when you receive a solution through that channel, as it may help other users who encounter the same problem.

Hi all,
This issue is fixed and we need to define appropriate values for Java MAX memory and PermGen memory in wrapper configuration file if we are running JBoss Fuse/A-MQ as Windows service. We need to ensure that as per application load, we fine tune these settings.

Thanks
