Sukanta,

Mounting NTFS in Linux isn't a straightforward process and requires mounting the drive in usermode using fuse with an NTFS module.

I found the following thread in the Red Hat message archives which is the basic process for RHEL 5:
http://www.redhat.com/archives/rhelv5-list/2007-May/msg00108.html

The process for RHEL 6 is essentially the same:
1. Install fuse (yum install fuse)
2. Install fuse-ntfs-3g module (will need to find a third party rpm I believe, hopefully someone can recommend one)
3. Mount using ntfs-3g tools

One thing that is critical (I have found from using the module) is that the NTFS drive needs to be unmounted from windows safely and you need to ensure doesn't have any outstanding file system inconsistency as this can cause problems when attempting to mount in Linux with the above process.

FUSE method has been superseded by ntfs-3g in EPEL.

Red Hat solution is here.
