Robin,

Do a yum install of system-config-kickstart and you can make one on your RHEL 7 system.

Alternatively, examine the /root/anaconda-ks.cfg file as a starting point on your rhel 7 system.

  • IMPORTANT - VERIFY YOU ARE REALLY NOT CONNECTED TO A SAN PRIOR TO STARTING YOUR KICKSTART

Uncomment (as needed, and edit) the "logvol", "clearpart" "part" directives in the file after examining the storage on your system you wish to install it on.

egrep 'part|logvol' /root/anaconda-ks.cfg

That file serves a starting point for a system if you have one already, see last link at the bottom of this post.

Check out this article on troubleshooting RHEL 7 kickstart files on important differences as well. See this bit if you get "no trees found" with your kickstart.
