CloudForms 3 Design and Migration from 2.x

We are curious how other customers are designing their CF 3 implementations to support DR/HA capabilities with infrastructure being managed across different physical data centers. We are also interested to find out how others are migrating from 2 to 3 since it is not an in place upgrade. How are you keeping track of all of the tags, policies, ownership of systems to properly migrate them to 3?
