Using the generic jms provider with Oracle's Advanced Queue

Latest response

Hello,

did someone successfully configure Oracles Advanced Queue over the generic jms provider delivered with eap 6.2.
I followed this article

But I didn't succeed. Someone knows the differences to Oracles AQ and give me some hints?

Tanks,

Mike

Hi, Mike:

As far as I know that generic jms resource adaptor doesn't work with Oracle AQ. You couldn't configure it straightaway unless you can have an adaptor (supporting eap 6.2) from Oracle.

Some of JBoss users tried to do it with other approaches, but unfortunately that is not supported by Red Hat.

It seems with older versions (4.x or 5.x ?) of EAP, and JBoss SOA/ESB , there are ways to do so, but not sure about EAP 6.2.

Hi Lyle,

thanks for the links. I guess we'll try to write an own Resource Adapter.

A little late to the game here, but we have a similar requirement. Michel - did you get anything to work?
