Install moodle on linux redhat

i need your help installing moodle on the redhat linux. Do you have any experence to share

It looks fairly straight forward, with its main requirement being a basic LAMP stack (Linux / Apache / MariaDB,MySQL / PHP).

As a start, on your Red Hat host install the required OS components:

yum install httpd mysql-server php php-mysql
chkconfig httpd on && chkconfig mysqld on
service httpd start
service mysqld start

I think the only issue you may hit is the required PHP modules, I haven't seen a list of moodle PHP requirements but there may be some that don't ship in the default RHEL installation.

EPEL has moodle-2.4.8-1.el6. Although this is not the latest version, it is still maintained with security fixes (at the time of this post).
