RHEV incorrectly reports 100% network of RHEV-H

Latest response

My RHEV hosts all have multiple 10GbE nics, occasionally when they see enough activity to reach 1Gbs or more, then the Rhevm reports that as 100%, with the corresponding alert:

"Used Network resources of host [hostname] [100%] exceeded defined threshold [95%]."

In my case though 1Gbs is actually only 10% of this physical link.

..Can this threshold / calculation be changed somewhere?

Why doesn't RHEV calculate network percentage as an actual percentage of the physical link speed vs the traffic, rather than just measuring up to 1Gbs?

I'm in the same situation. From what I was told the threshold can not be changed. At the least it would be helpful to suppress benign messages(warnings) such as these.

The same issue with my RHS 3.3 cluster. Each node has 2 trunks - each 2*10G. The message pop up at ~5% network utilisation on physical NIC.
It would be nice to see real numbers.

I see this too, particularly when live-migrating. I always assumed that the warning was correct.
I will check I/O next time I experience this and will raise a support case if the results are not as expected.

I am in the same situation.. is there a fix for this in RHEV 3.5 possibly? Or some configuration that can be changed to reflect the correct amount of bandwidth available?
