I have kept security updates current on my systems by running 'yum update --security' monthly. All are on the latest 7.x kernel - Kernel: Linux 3.10.0-1160.99.1.el7.x86_64.

I have never done a blanket yum -update on any of them. cat /etc/redhat-release on different systems will show 7.3, 7.5, 7.7 etc.

Is running this latest kernel version sufficient to be able to purchase Extended Support before 6/2024 EOL?
