  • Deploy OpenShift Data Foundation cluster on VMware vSphere

    Posted on

    Hi,
Trying to deploy OpenShift Data Foundation cluster on VMware vSphere and have a query, Is there a way to deploy ODF (Using Local Disks) or Configure Persistent Storage for OpenShift applications on VMware vSphere without OpenShift Platform need to have any user with required privileges for storage provisioning on vCenter?

Does ODF Support deployment on vSphere 8.0 as according to the Documentation at the link below for ODF it supports vSphere 6.7, Update 2 or later and vSphere 7.0 or later

    https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_openshift_data_foundation/4.12/html-single/planning_your_deployment/index#vmware_vsphere

How many local disks can be attached to a single node in the ODF cluster at VMware vSphere environment, As we have a requirement for applications to provide 8 TB that would be deployed by attaching 2 local disks of 4 TB to each node in a 3 nodes cluster

    Thanks and Best Regards
