  • Warning: Last RHEL 8 kernel issue with httpd

    Posted on

    Hello,

We have updated our servers with latest kernel and other rpms, and found httpd not worling correctly anymore.

Rolling back to preveious kernel kernel-4.18.0-477.10.1.el8_8.x86_64 corrected the issue and httpd no more fails.

Issue is that after receiving a bunch of pings from haproxy, around 30s after httpd has started, it freezed and no more works.

Not sure how to identify or give more information at this point of time.

    Rpm versions are:
    kernel-4.18.0-477.13.1.el8_8.x86_64
    haproxy-1.8.27-5.el8.x86_64
    httpd-2.4.37-56.module+el8.8.0+18758+b3a9c8da.6.x86_64

    Regards,
    Christian
