  • HTTP 500 error when attempting to download passt package

    Posted on

    Hi!

I hope this is correct product category, please redirect me if this is not the right one.

We have a tool that uses the https://api.access.redhat.com/management/v1/packages API to check for updates and download packages for machines that cannot have internet access. Recently, I believe last week, we've been getting

    HTTP 500
    server errors for the package
    passt-0-0^20230222.g4ddbcb9-2.el9_2.x86_64.rpm
(one of the ephemeral URIs that failed: https://api.access.redhat.com/management/v1/packages/1dabf980ff25d2fa208358a39bab67c7c5c80667e8917ee8a5e2c219003b0596/download).

Unfortunately I don't have much more info, the error page just states

    500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR
. It consistently happens for this specific package for over a week. The version number (
    0^20230222.g4ddbcb9
) does look a bit odd though, but maybe that's unrelated.

Any advice on how to resolve this? Is our tool querying this package incorrectly?

    Best regards
    Andreas
