  • Redhat IDM server with Ubuntu and CentOS, Rocky Clients

    Hi,

We are looking to migrate ldap service from turnkey solution (open ldap 2.4.40+dfsg, ldap v3 Supported) Debian 8.8 Jessie based to IDM running on Redhat 8 or 9. We eventually want to have DNS, CertAuthority, User Access Management done with IDM.

    Current ldap turnkey version:-
    ldapsearch: @(#) $OpenLDAP: ldapsearch (May 2 2020 00:44:42) $
    pbuilder@build01:/build/openldap-2.4.40+dfsg/debian/build/clients/tools
    (LDAP library: OpenLDAP 20440)
    supportedLDAPVersion: 3

Is it possible to do so with client running Ubuntu 18 & 20, Rocky 8, CentOS 7.x ? Is it possible to migrate user data from ldap to idm directly or indirectly ? Appreciate the responses and pointers as to how can this be done. Looking forward to hear what the experts think or if there is a better way to do this.

    Thanks
    Shank
