  • RHEL 7.1 Common Criteria and 'Server with GUI'

    Posted on

    Hi there,

I am trying to implement RHEL 7.1 Common Criteria using the kickstart provided by Red Hat. The procedure has been performed offline putting the kickstart and the EAL packages into a USB drive.

Now I was wondering, is it possible to install the 'Server with GUI' group to get the graphical interface with the current Common Criteria configuration? I already tried to do that but I faced some dependency issues due to EAL packages version.

As an example, some packages require glibc-2.17-78.el7_1.4.x86_64.rpm as a dependency, while glibc-2.17-79.el7_1.4.x86_64.rpm has been already installed and is required by the Common Criteria procedure.

Would connecting to the Internet and configuring an online repository solve this problem solving automatically the dependencies?

Thanks to everyone will help me to come up with a solution.
