Running xvfb on RHEL8: is this supported or not?

Hi,

someone in our company asked me to install xvfb on our RHEL 8 server. I've found very little info about this, except for this post (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/64919789/how-to-install-xvfb-on-rh8) and another post where someone installed it and it broke their regular x server software.

So before I install this thing, I'd like to be 100% sure it won't break my system. The server is used for ssh connections, x11 forwarding, has vnc server configured,...
Will installing xvfb break this?
Anybody any experience with this? Or good arguments I can use to decline this request?
