Creation of qla2xxx lio target failed in rhel 7.9 with HPE QL2562 HBA

Hi all,

We are trying to configure a Qlogic 2562 HBA card in LIO target mode on an HPE DL380 G10 server running rhel 7.9 with kernel-3.10.0-1160.81.1.el7.x86_64 using targetcli.

The card is in target mode and tcm_qla2xxx module is loaded.

When we create qla2xxx target in targetcli we get error:
 [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/sys/kernel/config/target/qla2xxx/51xxxxxxx/tpgt_1/enable'

We have gone through the forum posts and saw that the issue is with the kerne module tcm_qla2xxx. But can get any resolution for this.

Question:
1. Which version is rhel and kernel ever worked with qla2xxx lio target?
2. Is there any rhel 7 qla2xxx / tcm_qla2xxx driver that will work with lio target ?

We shall be grateful for your assistance on the above question and resolution of this.
