Red Hat Linux 8 Minor Version Support

I am newbie Admin and Working on Hardening AWS/Red Hat 8 Image.

After reading the Lifecycle Document I got confused.

Per Above Documents, Current End of Maintenance Support for RHEL 8.7 is 30 April 2023. and for 8.6
Current End of Extended Update Support for RHEL 8.6 is 30 April 2024.

Questions :
1 if I am Currently Running 8.7 than after April 2023, I will not get the Security Update for 8.7 ?
2 how EUS work on AWS ?
3 is there any best practices for Red Hat Minor Version Upgrade & Downgrade ? (Assumption: Application does not have any requirement for minor version locking ?).
