Barcode scanner sends junk to terminal

Hi Red Hat community,

i'm using Rhel 8.3, and encouraging issue while using barcode scanner with USB interface, when i scan some SN barcodes i receive junk data and sometimes uppercase letters converted to lowercase, for example:
123x45678 instead of correct barcode: 123X4567
ab@^x123 instead of AB23X123

I've increased the barcode`s intercharacter delay up to 20msec and seems to solve the issue, i'm searching for another solution to apply from the machine side not the barcode, any advise?

*at other machines that i have with RH7.4,7.2 i have no issue with same barcodes with 0msec intercharacter delay
