Podman on RHEL 9 vs Podman on Ubuntu- will there be any differences?

Now that I discovered certain hardware on my private server isn't recognized by RHEL but is by Ubuntu, and testing/studying containers, and seeing that Podman can be installed on Ubuntu (hence thinking about switching to Ubuntu), I wonder if Podman behaves and functions the same on Ubuntu as it is on RHEL.
If anyone ran Podman both on RHEL and on Ubuntu, can you please share your experience? Will I be able to follow Red Hat docs on containers while using Podman on Ubuntu without any major adjustments?
I like how well documented Podman is by Red Hat, but I also like how friendly Ubuntu is to a wide array of hardware including some on my private LAN server that I may depend on in some future projects which hardware RHEL doesn't recognize. Docs about containers on Ubuntu sadly cannot match Red Hat's.
