Basically that documentation is a work of fiction because it does there are whole classes of device drivers that have been removed that are not listed in the removed hardware that are supported on RHEL8

If you are going to remove stuff that is fine. Just don't lie in your product documentation. Noting that in this sort of scenario omission of critical information is a lie by omission.

I have not dug any deeper by the all the DVB drivers seem to have disappeared with not a mention.
