RHEV-M download

Latest response

Good day,

Is there anyway to download the rhev-m rpm's/software manually instead of using yum?

Thanks

May I know the purpose? If its for creating a local repository you can make use of yumdownloader command.

1. Install a base rhel 6 machine.
2. Subscrbe this system to required channels needed for RHEV installation.
3. yumdownloader --resolve rhevm (to download rhevm and related packages)

Thanks,
Anil

Hi Anil,

For some reason it doesn't seem that the yum install rhevm -y works. Just keeps on saying that no such package exists.

I am registered to the RHN classic channel, I did a yum update and it updated 104 rpm's - but I am unable to get the rhev packages loaded.

Regards

Also, when trying to add channels with the following (rhn-channel -u {username} -p {password} -c) I get error class code 37 - You are not allowed to perform administrative tasks on this machine. I am using root and the corrent login information
