must be clvmd running when doing a vgextend xxnewdiskxx on a node?

Hi,

i have to nodes on a red hat cluster , now i´ve presented a new lun. i need to grow a VG. So clmvd must be running? which node should be the one where i grow it?

i have seen just right now that volumes are not in cluster!

Is that a shared LUN. clvmd need to be running in case of clustered VG. If clvmd is not running you won't be able to view the clustered vg ie with the c attribute in vgs command.

Which VG are you trying to extend and What error are you getting when tying to extend the VG.
