Active subscription but unable to register server

Latest response

I have an active subscription (self support) but when the newly installed server tries to register (firstboot and subsequently) I fill in all the information but get a "No Active Subscriptions Found" message.  Subscription info:

Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server, Self-support (1-2 sockets) (Up to 1 guest)

How do I get this to work?

Helllo John,

You can double check that by logging to Customer Portal and checking for active subscriptions on https://access.redhat.com/wapps/support/protected/subscriptions.html#showActive

If you find any issues related to your subscription, feel free to call customer services for more information.

John,

Can you login to your account[as the ORG admin] and then add a new user account with a different email address and then try to register the system[for a tes].

I suspect, you have two accounts with Red Hat with the same user login and email address.

You may try the above suggestion or contact customer service team.

Dear John,

Why dont you check the logs, while putting your system to the RHN portal. Do you have any already active system in this RHN portal or just newly adding the system? You have purchased 2 socekts and the server you are trying to add, how many sockets it has?

If possible, submit a case to the portal.

Please suggest, If I am wrong.
