Default Gateway on Logical Network other than rhevm

Latest response

I have configured the rhevm Logical Network to be on a VLAN which we use for server management.  This VLAN has limited connectivity.

I can't get the Administrator Portal to set the Default Gateway to be on any Logical Network other than rhevm.  Is is possible to do this?

We also use dedicated interfaces on closed network for rhevm-network.

To correct the default gateway I log in as root after installing the hypervisor, remove GATEWAY from the ifcfg-rhevm interface, and instead put it into /etc/sysconfig/network (and persist these files, and reboot).

This requires manual intervention by removing GATEWAY line from /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-rhevm and adding it to /etc/sysconfig/network.

We have RFE filed to separate default gateway from interface configuration. So future version of RHEV may have a button to add default gateway which will automatically add it to /etc/sysconfig/network.
