Changes are lost in /etc/multipath.conf after hypervisor reboots...

Hi,

 

After the RHEV-hypervisor (OS RHEV kernel 2.6.18-238, Hypervisor v5.6 with RHEV-M v2.2) gets rebooted (accidentally or on purpose), it seems that the changes in /etc/multipath.conf are getting lost.

 

So, how do we ensure it's persistence across reboots ?

as root run `persist /etc/multipath.conf`

Hi ,

i am using rhev hyprevisor 6.2. Is the below parameters are mandatory to multipath configuration files? 

 

# RHEV REVISION 0.7

# RHEV PRIVATE

VDSM check for these lines, and if they are missing, will ignore the multipath.conf params and load it's own defaults
