Looking for some packages for RHEL 5.7
Hello All,
I just installed RHEL 5.7 in one of my DELL server. I am about to install Oracle 11g R2.
I was review some of the information guideline from Quick Installation Guide from Oracle. There are several packages I need to installed before I install Oracle 11g.
like; unixODBC-2.2.11, systat-7.0.2, binutils ..etc.. If anyone know where i can be download those packages please give me some recommend.

I also have Dell R910 with oracle 11G r2 install. For those package. You can install it by RHEL ISO files.
You can burn the ISO file as DVD and insert it to the server.
With yum install xxx command. You can insall those pacakge.
By the way. Oracle has for Oracle 11G r2 in RHEL 6.X already.So I recommand you install the RHEL 6.x for Oracle DB server OS.
