MariaDB Galera support

Latest response

MySQL's anemic replication offerings (master/slave, even with row-based support in recent versions), have always been a sore point for us; causing us to see out Oracle RAC for environments that need high availability. .
MariaDB Galera, with its multi-master support may be the answer. Is there a chance Redhat would consider shipping Galera packages in a later beta of RHEL7, even if it's only in tech preview form?

Hi Nathan, I can see you filed https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1049623 already, but for others that would like to +1 this feature, please file a Red Hat Support Case with the product Red Hat Software Collections and refer to this Bugzilla.

There is MariaDB Galera available in RHSCL offering now. See more in article Setting up Galera Cluster with the MariaDB 10.1 Software Collection (RHEL6 and RHEL7) .
