  • Unable to attach system; subscription messed up? "0 of 0 Entitlements in Use"

    Posted on

My RedHat Developer Subscription for Individuals expired. I logged into the Redhat subscription page and accepted the terms; and I saw two new subscriptions automatically got added to my account. So far, so good. Unfortunately, when I try to register my linux installation it says I have no subscriptions -- it's been over 24 hours with no change.

    [root@kong ~]# subscription-manager remove --all
0 subscriptions removed at the server.

    [root@kong ~]# subscription-manager unregister
    Unregistering from: subscription.rhsm.redhat.com:443/subscription
    System has been unregistered.

    [root@kong ~]# subscription-manager clean
    All local data removed

    [root@kong ~]# subscription-manager register --username jjreyn
    --password X --auto-attach
    Registering to: subscription.rhsm.redhat.com:443/subscription

Product Name: Red Hat CodeReady Linux Builder for x86_64

Unable to find available subscriptions for all your installed products.

    [root@kong ~]# subscription-manager list --available
No available subscription pools to list

In the redhat web page, my subscription shows that I have an active subscription. When I click into the subscription, it shows "Entitlement Quantity: 0" and "1 subscription provides 16 entitlements", and that I have "0 of 0 Entitlements in Use".

    Help?

It looks like my subscription is there, and should have 16 entitlements, but actually has 0. Customer support directed me here to the discussion forum since this is the free subscription. I'm not sure where to go from here.. thoughts?

    Thank you!
