Changing GPG signing key for custom content

Latest response

Is there any way to make it so satellite gives all your custom, signed packages get a new key signature when you create a new signing key and upload it to satellite server?

Or do you have to manually re-sign each individual package you have on your satellite repo and then re-upload them when you start using the new key?

Hi Breen,

This might be best addressed with a case with Red Hat, this is a supported product. That being said, I imagine you've probably seen this satellite documentation on custom GPG keys starting at about paragraph 6.3. That's for satellite 6.8, I'm not sure which version of Satellite you happen to be using.

RJ

I was just thinking that, when you upload a new gpg key for a custom repo, it would be nice if the satellite server automatically updated all the signatures of the rpms in that custom content repo.
