Update from RHEL6.8 to RHEL 6.10 ->RHEL7/8

Hi All,
I understood that the maintenance for RHEL 6 has ended, and an ELS contract is needed to continue receiving support.

According to the site, ELS is only supported on the last minor release. In this case, RHEL 6.10.

We have an customer which is running SAP Netweaver on RHEL 6.8 (Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.8 (Santiago)).

In this case, ELS does not apply and to upgrade to 7/8, it have to be on 6.10.

Is it possible currently for customer to update from 6.8 to 6.10 and get ELS and then updating all packages for RHEL6 ELS and then upgrade to 7/8?

What is Best Approach here?
