OpenScap on RHEL7

I am attempting to STIG a RHEL 7 virtual server using OpenScap. I have tried in both VMware and HyperV with the same result. After I run the DISA remediate scan, I can only boot into a grey screen with the RHEL 7 background. No login screen, username and password prompts or anything.

Does anyone know a workaround to this?
