Can not install teh VLC
I need a video player to play capture frames from my frme grabber. I am trying to isntall VLC but get teh following error
dirac-1.0.2-1.el6.rf.i686 requires libcppunit-1.12.so.1
libcaca-0.99-0.1.beta17.el6.rf.i686 requires libglut.so.3
I have no idea what to do next. I google a libcppunit* but what I get makes no sense to me.

I'm running VLC from the third-party ATrpms repo. It works fine, though if you have other third-party repos like RPMForge, you'll probably find some packages from those repos conflict with each other.
I just installed Fluendo Oneplay and it works perfectly and it was very easy to install. I don't mind having to pay if there is no reliable free solution. I tried the 3rd party repositories and all had missing dependencies or were altogether off-line.
how i can vlc install in my redhat7 linux
Hi Borhan, execute the following commands :
sudo subscription-manager repos --enable rhel-7-server-extras-rpmssudo subscription-manager repos --enable rhel-7-server-optional-rpms
(replace "server" with "desktop or "workstation" when you are running one of these editions)
sudo rpm -Uvh https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/epel-release-latest-7.noarch.rpmsudo rpm -Uvh https://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/el/rpmfusion-free-release-7.noarch.rpmsudo rpm -Uvh https://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/el/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-7.noarch.rpm
sudo yum updatesudo yum install vlc
