Hi, we noticed the txqueuelen set for the loopback interface increased since RHEL 7.1 from 0 to 1 and then after 7.4 it's set to 1000 to match the physical NICs. We have noticed the increase in latency for our application, which is relying on the communication over the loopback. Does anyone know the reason behind these changes and any potential implication with dropping it down back to 1 or 0?

    Thanks
