    Hello

    I have system:
    root@tomasz-home ~]# uname -r
    4.18.0-80.11.2.el8_0.x86_64
    [root@tomasz-home ~]# rpm -q kernel
    kernel-4.18.0-80.el8.x86_64
    kernel-4.18.0-80.11.2.el8_0.x86_64

    I can see below error at dmesg.
    [Sat Sep 28 22:09:01 2019] pcieport 0000:00:1c.5: AER: Corrected error received: 0000:00:1c.5
    [Sat Sep 28 22:09:01 2019] pcieport 0000:00:1c.5: PCIe Bus Error: severity=Corrected, type=Data Link Layer, (Transmitter ID)
    [Sat Sep 28 22:09:01 2019] pcieport 0000:00:1c.5: device [8086:9d15] error status/mask=00001000/00002000
    [Sat Sep 28 22:09:01 2019] pcieport 0000:00:1c.5: [12] Timeout

    I found a suggestion to add GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=....."quiet splash pci=noaer" to /etc/default/grub file.

    [root@tomasz-home ~]# cat /etc/default/grub
    GRUB_TIMEOUT=15
    GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR="$(sed 's, release .*$,,g' /etc/system-release)"
    GRUB_DEFAULT=saved
    GRUB_DISABLE_SUBMENU=true
    GRUB_TERMINAL_OUTPUT="console"
    GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="crashkernel=auto resume=/dev/mapper/rhel-swap rd.lvm.lv=rhel/root rd.lvm.lv=rhel/swap rhgb quiet splash pci=noaer"
    GRUB_DISABLE_RECOVERY="true"
    GRUB_ENABLE_BLSCFG=true

    I still have this issue.
    Could you please send me any suggestion?

    regards,
    Tomasz
