  • How to create sub-domains on base-domain?

    Posted on

    Hello,

We have NIS in our environment and planning to migrate to RedHat IdM. For NIS we have master-slave setup for 3 environments, i.e. Lab, Non-Prod and Prod. For redundancy, we kept them at two locations, i.e. Washington (site1) and Arizona (site2). Here are our NIS servers :

    site1-lab1
    site2-lab2

    non-prod1-site1
    non-prod2-site1
    non-prod1-site2
    non-prod2-site2

    prod1-site1
    prod2-site1
    prod1-site2
    prod2-site2

I have new Redhat Identity manager setup done. Instead of keeping different servers and complete different setup, I wanted to keep all environments in same IdM setup.
For example - Our base domain is abcpoint.com
    And we can have 3 sub-domains, i.e. lab.abpoint.com, pre.abcpoint.com & prod.abcpoint.com

I am able to create lab.abcpoint.com and client from that environment is working well. Now I can't create other two domain. How can I set that way, if that is possible ?

    Thanks
