I get a 404 when going to that link.

[EDIT] Nevermind. When clicking your link, it goes to the wrong place, but copying the link gets me there. Thanks.

Hi Matt,

You're welcome ! I've checked and corrected the link - there was a mistake ... now it should work. :)

Hello,

I am facing an issue with the dependencies of open JDK 1.8.0 where should I download the complete package to avoid sourcing dependencies

Hi Djamel,

Dependencies ? Well, on a RHEL system simply install it via DNF/YUM from the repositories. :)

My suggestion you should download it from oracle, I try rhel package lack of features like JavaFX not available

Here's the link: https://download.oracle.com/otn/java/jdk/8u221-b11/230deb18db3e4014bb8e3e8324f81b43/jdk-8u221-linux-x64.rpm

Hi Haidar,

You know that this is not officially supported by Red Hat, don't you ? Recommended ? Not really ... :)
Bare in mind that when you install ORACLE Java - you have to solve possible problems on your own.

Christian

Hi Christian, Sorry for giving other option of official Java Support,

but I commonly use lot of Oracle Product and JDK from el8 not Include the JavaFX

Here's my Issue:

RHEL8 OpenJDK with no JavaFX

No problem Haidar, I wrote my comment mainly to inform other users who don't know it ... :)
