Not able to Signal Intermediate Message Event

Hi All,
I am not able to trigger/Signal the intermediate Message Event. I have "Receive Task" handler implemented in spring boot. But it is not getting triggered. Can someone help me in provide sample code snippet/configurations for achieving this task.
