Hi Paolo,

Title : Information on subscription renewal
Question : How long does it take to activate the renewal of the subscription I just paid for?

Regards,
Christian

Hi Paolo,

Not quite sure what exactly you mean ... you bought a subscription and this subscription expires after one year.
One month before the expiration date, you find the notification Ready to Renew in Subscription management.
So you have to renew the subscription on the day it expires. The activation process normally takes a few hours.
In the worst case you don't get updates on that very day - but on the next day everything is working as usual. :)

For your convenience, here is my response in Italian language (translated with/tradotto con DeepL Translator) :

Christian

Hi RJ ! Good hint - and :

Now we're having a discussion covering three languages ...
Ora stiamo discutendo in tre lingue ...
Ahora estamos teniendo una discusión que cubre tres idiomas ...

Hope you don't mind the joke. :D :D :D

Cheers :)

Humor is a wonderful thing... I certainly enjoy it. Sometimes my humor configs don't work and for me it's like editing audit.rules - heh heh

... like editing audit.rules ... hahaha ... nice ... :D :D :D

Hi Paolo,

It's me again ... the response from RJ inspired me to read your question in a different context. Is it possible you meant that you have just renewed your subscription and you can't get it activated or re-attached to your already installed operating system(s) ? If that's the case, please execute the following commands. They clean up, remove and refresh everything and re-attach the subscription. :)

sudo subscription-manager remove --all
sudo subscription-manager unregister
sudo subscription-manager clean

sudo subscription-manager register
sudo subscription-manager refresh
sudo subscription-manager attach --auto

Regards,
Christian

Thanks Christian, I'm not as language savvy as you! lol

LOL ... RJ - you are the best ... and you say that your humor configs don't work ???
Now let's hope that my "guessings" were right and Paolo gets his problem solved. :)
