Satellite 6: applying filter to kickstart repo

we created a simple CV (content view) containing only one kickstart repository named "Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 Server Kickstart x86_64 6.5" which is downloaded from Redhat

without applying any filter in this CV, we are able to install RHEL 6.5 on a machine

my question, may we apply filters against this CV to remove unnecessary packages, i.e. make the machine to see only minimum number of packages

we did some tests, use filter to remove some packages are OK, for example, all the international language support package groups can be removed by applying an "Exclude" type filter

is there any existing documents describing how to create filters to make this CV the mininum? thanks!
