Enterprise Security Client Software need a GUI to work correctly?

We are looking at using PKI certs for all of our RHEL VMs.

I'm reading thru the docs on Enterprise Security Client and not sure if the GUI needs to be installed for this to work or not.

If so, I will have to go back and install the GUI on a number of our servers.

There are plenty of solutions that do not require installing a GUI on servers. We do not in our enterprise networks install GUIs on servers because there's more to mitigate in terms of security issues, a whole lot more.
