Linux running BD Oracle RAC with VMware 6 - Questions about SCSI Bus Sharing
I have 2 VMs running in a VMware 6 Cluster with Oracle Database Rac, we are having difficulties to maintain ESXi Hosts because we can not to do vmotion between these 2 VMs to other Hosts, this is because the SCSI controllers of these VMs are working in "SCSI Bus Sharing: Virtual" mode, so I understood and tested, if I was in "SCSI Bus Sharing: Pysical" mode I would be able to do Vmotion without any problem.
I ask, is it possible for me to make change to Pysical safely, without stopping something in the OS or Oracle RAC ASM Volumes?
Note: I use Shared Disks in .VMDK format on VMware DataStore in a Rh6.
