Patching RHEL 6.9 machines using Satellite 6

I just migrated few Red Hat 6.9 machines to the new Satellite server 6.2 and I have assigned these repositories 'Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 Server (RPMs)' ( has 19,345+746 packages ) and 'Red Hat Satellite Tools 6.2 (for RHEL 6 Server) (RPMs)' ( has 145 packages ). However, when I run 'yum check-update', it doesn't display anything. Do I need to do anything here to apply patches?
